Under construction. Neanderis may be ready in late 2027 or early 2028. That’s a tentative target, not a promised launch date.
Security is not a sacrifice

Verify the record.
Not the story.

Have an important digital document? Neanderis is being built to help you check whether a copy matches earlier cryptographic evidence.

A record-integrity check designed to complement the tools you already use—not replace them.

Explore how it works

What is Neanderis?

Neanderis is being built to help you check whether an important digital document has changed. Think of a digital fingerprint as a reference made from a document. Later, another copy can be checked against that saved fingerprint to see whether it matches. Neanderis is still under construction—not a live service.

For example: You keep an important document and its digital fingerprint today. Years later, someone gives you another copy. Neanderis aims to help you check whether the copy matches the saved fingerprint. It cannot tell you whether the information in the document is true.

How Neanderis works

Three simple ideas behind the planned verification process.

01 · CREATEGold digital fingerprint icon

A digital fingerprint

A defined procedure creates a cryptographic fingerprint from the record’s exact digital bytes.

02 · PRESERVEFolder holding supporting records

Supporting evidence

Keep the commitment and supporting context for later checks. The original document can remain off-chain.

03 · CHECKDocument and checkmark illustration

The record

Compare a later copy with the available evidence. The result may be a match, mismatch, or unable to verify.

A supported conclusion depends on the applicable procedure, trust assumptions, and available evidence. The three-step illustration is conceptual, not a claim of a live service.

Who it’s for

Designed with individuals, businesses, and developers in mind.

Individuals

Individual reviewing a document

Want to check whether a saved copy of an important document matches earlier evidence.

Businesses

Business people reviewing files at a computer

Want to explore integrity checks alongside existing document and recordkeeping workflows.

Developers

Laptop showing developer code

Want to explore adding a reusable record-integrity check to another application.

These are potential use cases—not completed integrations or regulatory approvals.

Why would you use it?

Sometimes the important question isn’t who says a document is authentic. It’s whether the record can actually be checked against evidence.

Check a document versionSee whether a later copy matches an earlier commitment, when evidence is available.
Keep the original privateThe intended design allows the original document to remain off-chain; privacy depends on the actual workflow.

Questions for Rock

The serious answers, with a little Neanderthal curiosity.

Neandor and Neandorita asking Rock whether Neanderis proves a document is true; cheerful Rock carries the gold shield
Neandorita asks Rock

Does Neanderis prove a document is true?

No. A cryptographic match can support a record-integrity conclusion. It cannot, by itself, prove truth, authorship, consent, or legal validity.

Does Neanderis store my documents?

The design allows original documents to remain off-chain. Actual privacy depends on how a future application processes and stores files and metadata.

What happens if a document doesn’t match?

Depending on the evidence and rules, a check may support a match, indicate a mismatch, or be unable to reach a supported conclusion.

Does Neanderis use blockchain?

Prototypes have used VeChain testnet. A production service and final deployment architecture have not been announced.

Does it replace DocuSign or existing business systems?

No. The intended verification layer would complement e-signatures, record storage, compliance, and other applications—not replace them.

Want to go deeper? These are design concepts under review—not assurances that every feature has been implemented.

What is a cryptographic commitment?

A procedure computes a digest from exact digital bytes. To reproduce a check, the applicable procedure and input bytes matter. A matching digest alone does not establish original provenance.

What does independent verification require?

Depending on the claim, it can require commitment-procedure identity, preserved chain context, historical evidence, trust material and a verifier that evaluates the relevant rules.

What does a matching hash NOT prove?

It does not, on its own, establish truth, rightful authorship, informed consent, legal validity, proper business decisions, or software security.

What is the current security status?

Neanderis is under development and ongoing security review. Some research and tests are complete, while important release and authorization gates remain open. This page is not a security certification or a production service.
